De Buyer Stainless Steel Cooking Cloche 30cm

The De Buyer stainless steel cooking cloche lets you gently cook food and keep dishes warm until you’re ready to serve. Made from stainless steel, this smart cooking cloche is ideal for stewing or cooking vegetables or fish. 

This cloche works wonderfully in combination with a pan or plancha. When placed on top of a pan on a heat source, it concentrates heat and humidity on the ingredients which steadily cooks the food. This process preserves the nutrients of the ingredients you’re cooking and helps to develop stronger flavours. The vent on top can be used to release steam and avoid pressure build-up. 

If you’re following a low-fat diet, this cooking method is a great choice – the water in the food turns to steam to cook it, rather than adding oils and fats.
